On June 7th 2020 I was on the facebook market looking to purchase a car for myself and i came across a 2012 nissan maxima with 79,000 miles on it for $1,805 US dollars posted in Hartford, CT I sent a message to the supposed seller “GPH Services” which they directed me to a lady named “Ericka Pollard”. I immediately emailed her telling her i was highly interested in buying the car from her and which she gave me a little background on the car. I told her i had cash and that we could meet up so i could see and inspect the car and maybe purchase the car. She stayed that she was apart of Ebays “Buyer Protection Program” in which this transaction would be more safer for the both of us she said i needed to purchase 9 ebay cards and send the numbers on the back of the cards to ebay i asked her would it be possible to do it that friday June 12th 2020 and she said yes that would be fine. So i sent the gift card numbers and a day later i get an email saying “ebay” needed $1000 more for shipping car insurance, after i explained to ericka i didnt have those kind of funds i asked for a refund on June 15th 2020 and i havent heard from her since, i dont have my money and a car.
