Consumer had a "classmate" reach out to them via Facebook messenger and told them about an opportunity to receive $100,000 in a Government Grant and she would only have to pay $1,500. The consumer bought $1500 in Apple gift cards and took pictures of the codes and sent them through messenger.

Offered a free grant from the US Government. I have received 10 calls today from various numbers with this scam.
