I received a message via Facebook messenger. The message appeared to come from my great aunt. It appeared she was telling me about this Government Green Grant promotion for COVID-19. The person then directed me to contact an attorney for assistance on the number listed. Me, thinking this is legit text the phone number because recently I had been looking into grants through USA funding. And then when it came from my aunt's page I just didn't think anything of it. But as the conversation via texting went on I started to notice things and then he asked for money. $1000 for $50000 grant money? So I immediately started googling and research and wahla! I realized I was about to be scammed had I not listened to my discernment.
