The caller identified herself as being affiliated with "Medicare Insurance". Having received two prior calls today from the same organization with different caller ID's, I did not allow the conversation to get into particulars. The caller was trying to tell me that I needed a new Medicare card and that they needed to send one to me. I did say that Medicare is a part of the United States government and does not call. She said they would contact me by mail then so I said if that is the case, tell me my address. Obviously she couldn't and hung up. The three caller ID calls were "Unknown Caller", "Regions Bank NA" and "Wireless Caller". All were different phone numbers. A search of our caller ID list indicates we may have received three calls yesterday, one of which was labeled "Chase" and all were different numbers. All had the "205" area code.
