- Phoenix, AZ, USA • Mar 29, 2024

The person called me and stated that there was a warrant for my arrest due to missed court date. They stated that I was under investigation for fraud, that I had been served by UPS and had a signature that was not mine. They asked me for my email, which I gave. I was then emailed a document that appeared to be a court document. It had my name and address. Indication that a warrant had been issued for me for failure to appear. Along with a signed UPS confirmation. They stated there was a bond for $9960, when I told them that they said they could get it reduced. Came back to the phone and said it was reduced to half and then down to $500. When they figured out I did not have, they disconnected. I called PPP forgiveness and they knew nothing of it. I then called the Phoenix District Court and was told it was a scam the has affected many pepple and that there was nothing that could be done to get the peoples money back. Apparently this has happened to many people and many of them have paid.
