They disguise the letter to look like a bill that you must pay immediately (within 21 days); Instead of a service that they could potentially provide. Labor posters are free and can be obtained from the state, instead of paying $86.25 that this company is demanding. The name on file of this business is James L Beard.

I created a new LLC business with the Arizona Corporation Commission then received a letter in the mail requesting $72.50 for a certificate of good standing. I recognized it as a scam and researched it to confirm my suspicions.

I work for a law office that forms LLC with the Arizona Corporation Commission. We often receive official looking scam forms like the attached on behalf of the businesses we form requesting a fee for a document they do not need.
