I received an email for a job for “Delivery Merchandise Specialist” .I’ve been apply to a lot of jobs online and I thought I was legit. I responded to the email saying I was interest and received and email back quickly and the hiring process started quicker than I expected, maybe a day or so after responding to the email. The employment application looked legit so I continued.Long story short I began receiving packages a week later and it seemed legit. After the first package I was supposed to send I realized I was out of ink in my printer and didn’t have money to buy ink at the time.I told my “supervisor “ but he didn’t respond but continued sending packages. It was a bunch of random shoes and clothes with different names on the packages. I was going to ship the packages out but while trying to get money for ink from my brother he told me that what I was doing was probably a scam and if I shipped out the packages I could get in trouble. So I went home and started doing some research and after a few searches I found out it was. I called the delivery services so I can return them. I’m s easy to fall for because of work from home jobs have been popular during vivid so I thought I could trust them. Be careful. All jobs that tell you to receive packages and reship them are scams.

I was searching through jobs on indeed, and applied for a “Delivery Merchandise Specialist” under a so called company named “GoTransPack”. Me being naive, and in desperate need of a job, I apply for it. The next week i receive an email starting I got the job, which led me into giving them all of my personal information. Home address, bank account, drivers license, social security, and plenty more. I later then was told I would be assigned a supervisor for my “probation period” which was said to be 2 months. I waited for him to contact me, once he did, he informed me on when I was going to start receiving packages to resend. I was always skeptical but it seemed so real, the hiring and application process, but I was to dumb to see through it. Until I sent an email to my “supervisor” and 2 days later I get an email telling me that my message hasn’t been sent, which of course meant the email used to scam has been deleted, or something, I don’t know. i have emailed both accounts used to contact me, multiple times, and receive the same message, that my emails haven’t been sent. Be careful on who you apply to if in search of employment, I never imagined something like this would’ve happened to me.
