I received a call from an unknown number that claimed that they were from processed service dispatch wanting to know if I would be home today so they could serve me. I was given a number for a company called Gorman legal and was given a case number as well. I called the number for “Gorman Legal” and the person named Anthony Rubio told me that I owed a debt from 12 years ago (that was already taken care of) and that if I did not pay Gorman legal would put liens on my vehicle my fiancé‘s vehicle our home and would garnish his wages since I am a full-time nursing student. This person who claim to be someone named Anthony, new both of our Social Security numbers, our address, and even the types of vehicles that we drive. He was extremely hateful and told me that he would garnish my fiancé‘s wages and if he were my fiancé he would not want to marry me because of this debt and that they were going to sue me for not paying this debt. I called the actual company that I got the vehicle loan from and they had never heard of this collection company and verified that my account has been closed and taken care of. I called the owners of the building that the people claim do you have an office in and I am not the first one to call the building owner with this companies information. This company Gorman legal does not have an office at 1801 Century Park East Los Angeles California, 90067. This company is fake. This so-called company is a scam. The people that are scammers are extremely rude, disrespectful, and hang up on you, I also spoke with someone at this fake company called Jeremy Murphy, he was rude as well. I reported this company to the federal trade commission, the Alabama attorney generals office, and the FCC. If anyone gets a call from Gorman legal and they claim that they we’re hired by NCSLLC to collect a debt, it is a scam! I called and CSLLC and they are located in Washington, they also have never heard of a Gorman legal. Beware, these people are ruthless, hateful, and need to be stopped!
