This person called 4 times in 2 days, saying a police will be at my door that he was “google” and that my email has been attempted to change password and it shows I supposedly looked up and he said I supposedly looked up child porn etc which of course I he said he knows all my information including Ip address to my home have not

I have identified this as a credit card scam. Just noticed that a charge from this company started showing up on our credit card statements. It is deducted as a subscription fee. To seek out if I accidently subscribed to Pinger under google or what the company even is, I could not find any information to prove this as a reputable company. They do provide a telephone number, but it is automated as if they are "Google". There is no way to speak to a person which wouldn't mean much as it is. There is no way to cancel the "subscription".

I noticed a charge by Google that I did not initiate. I went to Google to find a number to call.

They told me I need to use my Visa card and purchase a card from Amazon to prove that I am the actual card holder, promising that they need to do this to catch the scammer, and I would be totally reimbursed by Google for what was taken and for the card l was buying. Then they said l need to make 2 more purchases.

The best way, they told me is to buy a gift card. They kept assuring me that "No worries" I will be totally reimbursed. They have to do this...Google can track and catch the scamer. They could 'already tell they were from Cincinnati, Ohio. They kept pushing me for more, till l spent all l could.

USDirectories is who contacted me, using the name of google. After leading them on I made them send me a email before I would finish signup and pay. Then I got there real name. Did a quick lookup of their company and they are considered a scam risk. Kept pushing for payment setup. I knew it was not google as I have had several conversation with them. They tell you, your business will be number 1 on all search engines.

Message: Hello! You still have not paid the requested amount of $ 250. We found very interesting in your hacked accounts information that will cost more than $ 3000 on the darknet. We give you one last chance. You have 7 hours to translate the requested amount. If you don't care who uses your data, then you can do nothing. Once to twice a month i keep getting a call from "Google" about my google listing. I have asked them 6-7 times to take me off there calling list that i do not need Google listing services. I have also pressed #2 key 5-6 times to be removed from the calling list and they still call. The last call i got i told them that i was going to report them to the ScamPulse.com if they did not remove me from the calling list, 3 weeks latter (Today 6/24/2020) i get a call again from them. This is for my business. Last year July-June 2019 they sent the company a bill for 700$ saying they provided assistance. They said they had a recording of me saying yes to there assistance and that they were going to send us to collections weeks after this supposed conversation. We rejected paying them and heard nothing else about it, no calls, or mail from a collection agency or google. At the time of the call i was not the owner of the company and had no right to agree to anything (I took over in September 2019). I remember the call, they asked me if the company's address was "BLANK", i responded with a yes and then they looped my voice into a call that was made to my father a year before (2018) regarding the same thing about doing a listing for our company. My father was the owner during all of this. He rejected there services the year before (2018). This leads us to think that this is a scam. I just got another call while writing this message #307-207-1647 number unknown. Same call from "Google" about my listing but with a different number. If you get this call do not fall for it you can manage your own listing on google your self, you can add all your info, Business Hours, Pictures, location and much more. I maintain our listing personally.

They call and give very vague information, claiming to be from the "business listing department" and offer to get your business listed/verified on Google mybusiness. They verify all you info and then transfer you to their "supervisor" who then tells you it costs $250 a one time charge to have your business listed and verified by Google. They lead you to believe and allow you to believe they are from Google until you ask specifically what company they are with.

- Colorado Springs, CO, USA

I am a portrait photographer serving Northern Colorado Springs, Colorado and decided one day I would create a Google business listing so my business could somewhat have better SEO. About 6 weeks ago google started calling claiming there was discrepancies in my listing. My listing is not published.

They wanted to verify my account and continue to call even though I keep hanging up
