I found a website that was advertising Cavapoo puppies for $600 and contacted them. That website has since been taken down. I never talked to a person. When I attempted to call the number listed it went to what sounded like a fax machine. I have several text messages from them. As soon As I sent the money ($600 for the puppy and $200 shipping) I knew that I had been scammed. Call it intuition or the fact that the text messages used broken English. I was first told that the puppy would arrive on Friday 2/26..No puppy arrived that day, but text messages advised it would arrive on Sat 2/27 Sat. morning I received a request for a" Refundable Insurance Fee of $950" That's when I called them out. My grandson sent an angry text back to them. Also, another grandson checked the Better Business Bureau and discovered they had been listed on 2/17. In retrospect, the signs were all there: the broken English, no active phone number, puppies were priced below going price. I'm OK I'll just chalk it up to a learning experience.
