The same thing happen to me with them calling. I really thought this was legit and it was not. When I called the credit card company I couldn't get my money back. I looked them up online and saw the picture of there business. I called their number and no answer. This is messed up on how you can scam someone out of their hard earned money. Hopefully someone catches them.

They called and said they were looking to buy time share weeks that you were not going to use. We were scammed out a considerable amount of money. To embarrassed to say how much. We have tried the number listed multiple times no one answers. Tried the website listed it does not exist. I am posting this so no one else has to go through what we are currently going through. I have warned you please not fall for this scam.

My spouse and I own a timeshare . (With this timeshare, came a membership into Interval International. This membership allows us to book vacations at timeshare locations world wide at a discounted rate. These are called Getaways.) We were contacted by a representative that I believed worked for Gold Crown Resort She said she was from the special events department and stated that I had unlimited getaway weeks and would I be interested in renting out some of these weeks for a profit. I confirmed I was interested and she transferred me to an agent that stated she worked for Gold Crown Rental and Sales. She stated that I could rent out a maximum of 12 of my getaway weeks for a guarnateed amount of $1600 each. It was for Nascar races at Infinity June 2020. She stated that all i needed to do was pay an activation fee of $198 each for a total of $2376. This activation fee must be paid via credit card. She stated that the corporation that booked my units would pay me via cashiers check for the rentals. She told me the corporation was Monster Drinks.

I have contacted them several times and no response. I am assuming this was a scam. How rude!

My spouse and I own a timeshare at the Royal Floridian in Ormond Beach, FL. (With this timeshare, came a membership into Interval International. This membership allows us to book vacations at timeshare locations world wide at a discounted rate. These are called Getaways.) We were contacted by a representative that I believed worked for the Royal FLoridian. She said she was from the special events department and stated that I had unlimited getaway weeks and would I be interested in renting out some of these weeks for a profit. I confirmed I was interested and she transferred me to an agent that stated she worked for Gold Crown Rental and Sales. She stated that I could rent out a maximum of 12 of my getaway weeks for a guarnateed amount of $1600 each. It was for a Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada for the week of January 9, 2021. She stated that all i needed to do was pay an activation fee of $198 each for a total of $2376. This activation fee must be paid via credit card. She stated that the corporation that booked my units would pay me via cashiers check for the rentals. She originally told me the corporation was Motorolla. The next day, she told me the corporation was Sony.

After much investigation, including a call to Interval International, I determined this to be a scam.
