Gold Coin Scam Reports & Reviews (1)

- Rocklin, CA, USA • Feb 07, 2024

Towards the latter part of January, I decided with my Dad to purchase a $50 American Buffalo 2022 1 ounce gold proof coin. My Dad wanted 1 as well so I ordered 2. I had contacted the site I found, US Bullion Estate.com everything looked good. I placed my order, I had a couple of phone conversations to verify payment. The man who answered the phone is Dean Anders (with a British accent). 915-895-2208. Once I made my purchase, we spoke again as they were asking for a wire transfer & I didn't understand why I couldn't use my CC. The website says purchases under $20,000.00 can use a CC. This was their policy, so I stopped fighting it. I set up the wire transfer for Mon 1/29. I sent a copy of the transfer info (which had my bank account #). By Friday, I had heard nothing. My Dad was interested to see the website & when I sent him the info, the website was gone. I called, left a voice mail. I emailed on Sunday to the billing address I had & was told my coins would ship Monday & I'd receive a tracking #. None of that happened.

I haven't heard anything. I've been scammed. As I did more digging, I have found 4 others who have been scammed by this person. The phone number still has his voice on the outgoing message. They need to be stopped.
