This site poses as the government Global Entry site, with an interface that is almost identical to the actual Global Entry site. It was one of the first sites that popped up when I googled Global Entry to renew my membership and looked legit. They collect the exact information and in the same format as the real site, charge a "service fee" of $149 and have a bot fill out your application. I used this site to attempt to renew my Global Entry, and did not notice the issues until I went on the real site to get the service from my kids and noticed that I didn't have any applications on file. I wasn't totally sure of the scam at first, because on the real site it says something about how people might have applied on their old site. I thought perhaps that was what I had done. I did check back later and saw that the scam company had created a new user ID for the government site, but I decided to do the application myself as I was concerned they wouldn't actually do it. I contacted the company requesting a refund and am disputing the charge with my credit card company. However, all of my personal information is now in their hands.
