Type of a scam Business Email Compromise

Law firm impersonation

I received a small claims lawyer notification stating the documents attached were from a client. No documents were attached. This is what was received:

Sent: Friday, September 8, 2023 3:19 PM
To: [email protected]
Subject: Documents for Beadle Conservation District

Our client has recently enlisted our services, and you can find the preliminary case documents in this document.

Our client is not willing to pursue a pre-trial settlement in this matter.

I believe "Go Finance Enrollment Center" is phising or trying to scam a local government agency.
I responded to the email asking where the document was, but no response.
I also contacted "Greenberg-Traurig", which is an international law firm, to inform them that they were being impersonated by "Go Finance Enrollment Center" .

They called me from a restricted number and left a voicemail with a fake agent telling me they received my request to help lower debt and left their 888 number. I called and asked who they were and if they were supposed to call someone on the do not call registry and then they hung up on me.

I got a voicemail from 336-916-2410 on 2/7/22 at 3:44 PM Eastern that says, "Hey, it's Renee and I wanted to try you just one last time regarding an online request for getting some financial help as I was able to get you an approval I think you'll like, so just go ahead and call me back and I'll give you the details. Again my number is 844-343-5864. Thanks." After hearing the message I had no idea what the message was talking about. I called the return number back today, 2/8/22, at 12:42 PM Eastern. The heavily accented man answered the call by asking if I was calling about their voicemail, I advised him that I was but that I haven't applied for any financial "help" at all. He promptly hung up on me. I called the number back immediately and another man answered, again asking if I was calling in response to their voicemail. He sounded like he had an American accent. I asked for their legal department. He insisted they didn't have one, that they only have one department and didn't understand what I was calling about. I told him I need to speak to whomever handles their legal issues, he responded that they don't have legal problems but would put me on their DNC list, then he immediately hung up on me. The third time I called back (immediately after the second man hung up on me), another heavily accented man asked if I was calling about their voicemail. This time I asked for their business name, he responded with "Go Finance Enrollment Center" or "Go Finance Wellness Center". After a quick Google search, the ScamPulse.com shows Go Finance is closed. So, who is calling people about "financial help" they didn't ask for?
