Sent information in the mail on 2 different occasions to my mother that she had won $1.2 million dollars and a new car. The packet included a letter supposedly from Bank of America, the better business bureau, mega millions lottery. Another single sheet of paper with no letter head or anything instructed her "Please get in touch with your attorney Abraham Goldstein immediately 1-620-741-6679. When you call this number there is a recording that says "You have reached G&M Law Office, Goldstein & Marra. My mother left a message and they returned her call. It is my understanding that they spoke back & forth on several occasions and that he informed her he was taking care of all the paperwork and meeting with other attorneys in regards to her winnings. She was then told she needed to send a cashiers check for $5,000 to Mary Hood, PO Box 911310, Winona, MS 38967. I don't know why but she sent this to them. He then continued to stay in contact with her and tried to get her to send $8,000 more to cover the remaining taxes and fees. This is when she told me about it and I told her it was a scam.
