GlossyBox offers a beauty subscription box filled with very mediocre beauty products. Their intro offer is that the first box is only $1... however, they do not mention that they will continue charging you full price every month, of $19.44, for a full 12 month year after your first month. No matter how many time you try to cancel they only reply with exactly this:

“ Thank you for getting in touch with GLOSSY!

I'm sorry to inform you that as you have entered a 12-month subscription we are unable to cancel this until the term is complete. Sorry for any disappointment caused.

If you would like us to turn off the auto-renew for you so the subscription automatically cancels after the 12th box has been dispatched, please let us know. Thank you in advance

I never signed a contract and they do not allow you to remove your debit/credit card information... The only way I was able to stop the charges and even receive a full refund of 7 months of unauthorized purchases was to file a dispute for unauthorized purchases though my bank. Thank goodness PNC was able to recover my losses.
