A person calling herself Donna Stearns sent an email to church members saying she wanted to find a good home for her late husband's piano. She provided an email and website address for the moving company. The moving company emailed back and said they had 3 prices for delivery of the piano. They do not accept credit cards, only zelle, Cashtag, bank deposit. They provided the following name for zelle: Rosario Sanders [email protected] The website has multiple URL's and the websites are different looking with different phone numbers. Some of the website links do not function and look fake. When they call you back on the phone, the english is very broken and hard to understand. When you ask questions they hang up and do not pick up the phone again. When googled, the address looks to be an apartment building in Little Rock Arkansas.

The scammer is posing as a international moving company. This company was referred to me by someone who wanted to sell me a piano. I was told to email the company to get a quote for the move. I provided my address, name and phone number to the company. The company then emailed me twice in one day asking if I received a quote. I then did not hear from the company after specifying the moving option I wanted to pursue. When I called the company, someone with very broken English pretended to not be able to hear me and asked me to text a phone number. When I texted this phone number, I was asked to make a payment in full for the move of the piano via CashApp, Zelle or bank transfer. This was when I realized it was a scam. I told them I would need to speak to my spouse and they responded asking for my email (which I did not provide). Later, I received an email from the company with a quote attached addressed to another person. Minutes later, I received a quote from the company addressed to me, telling me to make a payment in full with CashApp. I did not provide any payment. Upon looking up the physical address, it is a interstate highway. This is most certainly a scam and it is unclear to me if the person selling this piano is involved in the scam or not.
