I purchased a tennis ball machine from a Mr. James Stewart in Lexington, KY. I zelle his wife $180 (50%) He would receive the balance of the other 50% when I receive the machine. Mr.Stewart packaged the machine and used “Globe Delivery Express.” My tracking number was given to me by him and I also received an email from Globe Express Delivery with tracking number and link to website. Then I received text saying the package will not be delivered unless I pay $300 in refundable insurance. No instructions on how to pay the insurance. No address or telephone number on website. I responded to text and email them and no one is responding back. I am out $180 that I gave Mr. Stewart and the delivery company have my machine and will not communicate to me what I need to do to get my package delivered. This appears to be a scam and not poor customer service. I also reported to Federal Trade Commission.
