I called to get my car rental reservation canceled and this company intercepted my call and pretended to be the car rental company, then charged me twice for services that I do not want. Absolute scam and fraudulent operation. They should be jailed.

Small unidentified charges showed up on my accounts, which i cancelled immediately, and later received paperwork that claimed I signed up for their ID
and MD services . They were going to charge my card $29.95 a month after the "free" trial. I believe they use a representative who speaks English with such a heavy accent you cant understand 80% of what they are saying. My intended contact was to Aetnta, during which I heard numerous ads while on hold. They need to be shut down.

If there Indian hang up. Loud and noisy background hang up. Not to be racist but Indians who be [censored] do this with no job or education to steal money. Never ever give your name, your social security, payment information, address, E-mail. Just end the call and make sure. I tried call Chase enter the two wrong digits of a phone number and it sensed me to an Indian [censored]. Please be careful and please follow your instincts. Scammers are not only Indian. I ripped it cause I was so mad sorry. But yeah these scammers will all perish. They [censored]ing messing with danger. You never know who you talking to b[censored]. Don’t be surprised if you wake up with a knife to you.

My card was charged two times and I don't know how they got my card information. A $3.95 charge and then the next day it was a $2.90 one. I don't ever recall giving out my information. I tried calling the number that my bank gave me. I wasn't surprised that the number didn't seem to work.

Same sort of thing happened to me. I was trying to call AT&T somehow I was routed to this Globaltek scam. Truly strange! I don't know how they are intercepting legitimate business numbers. The person who answered asked me what I was calling about I think, I explained I wanted to unlock my phone carrier with AT&T, she immediately started asking me for my phone number, email, address, and then credit card number. I kept explaining it's a family plan, my info's not on there and asking why she needed this. But she said it didn't matter and that there was a small fee to unlock my phone. I gave her the info but we were having a hard time communicating (she had a thick accent) and she put me on hold and a man got on the line, he asked me to confim all the info I had provided and then told me he would read me a script and not to interrupt and to just appreciate it and that it was for my benefit. What the hell? Who talks like that? Anyway, he read very fast. I heard something about healthcare and signing up for some program and that I was agreeing to that. When he finished he said something like do you appreciate this offer. I said no. He asked again. I said no again. He kept asking me over and over just say yes you appreciate this offer. I said I do not appreciate it, I feel like i'm going in circles here, why should I agree to something I do no appreciate? He just kept repeating his script and then hung up on me. I immediately checked my credit card and there was a charge from Globaltek and an email from them trying to get me to click into it (fat chance). I locked my card, called fraud protection, reported the charge and canceled my card and have ordered a new one. Don't waste anytime with them. Cancel your card and move on if this happens to you. I still want to know how they managed to intercept my call to AT&T since I called the number on AT&T's website...

Global tek md told me they were State Farm transferring my policy. They took my information and charged my card. The guys name was Steve. I kept telling him that this didn’t make sense to transfer my car and he said I had to verify the card and nothing would be charged. This was a bold faced lie. I called the number my bank gave me only to be told there was nothing to do because my account wasn’t created yet. I would have to call back. This is completely wrong on so many levels. When it asked if I wanted to sign up for a mobile medicine say yes I did not say yes. I thought it was an add. This is a complete scam.

**SCAM WARNING**
I called Door Dash using the link provided in my confirmation email regarding my food order and a person of Indian descent answered and thanked me for calling Door Dash. When I explained the point of my call, the person started asking me for my name, address, date of birth and credit card number. He pretended he could not locate my order and advised me I needed to be "verified" to before he can help me with my refund. I was transferred to another person who he saus was his manager and she requested personal information from me.

Foolishly I gave all of this information and I was immediately charged $3.95 for a services I did not agree to. When I asked for them to cancel the charge the person disconnected the call.

I called back and reached Door Dash again, this time it was an actual DoorDash rep who only needed my phone number to process my request.

I have no idea how the phone line was intercepted, but I am furious. I had to cancel the credit card and dispute the charge.

Please be careful and do not fall for this SCAM.

it just happens to me, I tried to call progressive costumer service, I don't know how they get in line, they get all info from me, mean time I was suspicious and ask her if this is fraud, she said no we verified your information,

This company stole my credit card information. Charged me twice and when I call they ask me for personal information to verify my account, including credit card info. I do not have an account with them.
