On 8-24-16 A giant warning message appeared on my computer screen telling me that if I did not buy an optimization service from GlobalServInfo LLC, my computer would crash completely. After they did a clean-up, I was told that I could purchase a 1 year, 5 year or lifetime of protection from malware, etc, I sent a check for $300.00 for the lifetime protection plan to GlobalServInfo LLC, 8000 Madison Blvd, Madison, Alabama c/o Steve Parker, manager #00247. Today, 8-30-16, I got a telephone call saying that my check was refused by the bank that they use, and that I needed to write another $300.00 check. They said they would destroy my first check. I told them to send back my first check, I would void it, and I would send another. This whole thing has the feeling of "scam" all over it. Can you help ?
