Called re: fixing a computer - they had attempted in 2018. After it was caught in 2018 and the account closed, they now called in 2022 and said 4600 is owed.

They said they were collecting a debt of a $500 cash advance loan in 2015 and listed my old address. I haven’t lived there since at least 2010. Talking about garnishing my wages and things but would give me no information. I gave them no information and when I asked questions they hung up. Also they gave me a number of (***) ***-*** San Mateo, CA. It went right to the first number I listed. Very suspicious company.

This company claimed I previously bought a 5 year subscription for their network security for $129.99 and that it was coming to an end. They gave me the option to cancel services or be charged over $6,000. In order for me to cancel "my account" with them, I would have to get on my computer and download an app from "ultraviewer.net" which would give them access to my computer so they could manually undownload their software. They warned "threatened" that if I did not follow through with this process, that it would result in charging my account on file the amount of $6,000 something dollars. When I asked which account do they have on file, they could not tell me. They also used names like "Kelly Smith" and "Ronnie Fisher" but spoke with such heavy accents, it was difficult to determine what nationality they were or where they were calling me from.

This call was left on my recorder today. Female voice claimed that I had a $399 charge to my checking account for a plastic card. She wanted me to give authorization to process that charge. She said to just say "Yes" and hang up Or I was going to receive a call back within 24 hours if I wanted to decline. I did not return the call and called the BBB.

I was researching different websites for a paper I needed for school. When I received the Microsoft error message. I first just X out of everything and started a new window. But the error message continue to pop up, so I called the number on the message to see what the problem was. I have to admit that I'm not very technical savvy, so needed the help to finish my paper within the next few days. When I called the number they said they where a subcontractor with Microsoft and could stop the error messages and find the problem, which they did. But, then they continue to sell me some firewall protection at the rate of $650.00 for the start up fee. Which at the time sounded like a good deal, until they tried to run my debit card and the bank declined the transaction. Which I still did not expect anything because maybe I just did have the money in my account. What made me suspicious is when the bank called me about the transaction saying that this was a fraudulent company and was based somewhere in China. The icing on the cake was when the company Global Service continue to run my debit card like eight more time even after I told them to stop and no longer wanted their services. This happen in 2018, now it is two years later and I'm receiving phone calls saying I owe Global Services $6500.00 to continue providing me with firewall protection. Or, if I would like to cancel I would have to pay the sum of $3400.00 to get out of a contract that I have not seen, let alone signed. And, according to a supervisor with this company, "if I even wanted to see the contract I had to pay first." I contacted my bank to cancel my debit card and call the local Geek Squat to see what to do about my computer which will cost me $250.00 to remove the malware and/or spyware from the device.

I had my computer hard drive replaced and needed to connect my *** printer back to it. Contacted *** and sent me to a tech support person. The whole thing seemed odd because my computer was just fixed. The tech support person told my that I had out country people using my computer and that I needed to get a product to clean it up. They would put a firewall up to protect my modem and only charge me $149.99 per year 299.99 for 2 years and 399.99 for a lifetime of protection. I am on a fixed income and thought this seemed wrong. .I told Jason that I was going to check with somebody else to see if this was true. I called my internet provider and ask what was going on with my firewall and they said everything was okay on the modem. I also called a person who knows computers to come check out my problem. The tech support guy had blocked my computer and was taking control of it. My computer person cleaned it up. The tech support person would not give me a name of who he worked for. This was also a red flag for me. All he would give me was a phone number. I think That there will be no new *** products in my house. why would a company like *** set a person up like this? Scammer phone # is 1-844-744-8447.

When arriving at work yesterday, my desk top computer had a large red window open that said Fatal Error call 1-844-372-1777 immediately do not attempt to open any programs. So I called the number believing that I was calling Internet Explorer. I fell for their every word, let me tell you they are good at making a person believe that your computer is going to crash at any moment. And not only did they make me believe that Explorer was going to crash they also led me to believe that my QuickBooks program had a fatal error and would crash in 15 days. I filled out the checks that popped up on my screen for the 3 year covered warranty on each program, roughly $1000.00 and gave them the go ahead to start making the repairs. Last night several things popped into my mind that just hadn't felt right while this was taking place so I contacted my local Tech Support person and he assured me that yes it was a scam. I started changing all my passwords, notified Bank of America & my local bank and any others I could think of! Today my phone has rang a minimum 25 times from the above number and calls are also coming in from "Private Caller".

We own 2 companies that this has had an effect on. Please be aware and do not respond. I think we managed to stop the money before it left our accounts.

They continually call me all though I have repeatedly asked them to send me an invoice or bill if i truly owe anything to them. they do not and will not leave you alone. I cannot find any info on their name they provide you "global services". I called back to speak with them and they hung up on me twice, when i finally got someone she told me they would be pressing charges and such, and demanded my address. do not answer

VERY ANNYOYING!! Calls 3-4 times a day at my workplace. A female by the name of "Beth" leaves a message saying that I need to call her at 888 240 0182 but the number that comes up on my caller ID as 714 316 0360. I have asked them to stop calling and they were rude to me isn't that something?!

Everyday since Monday, June 12th I have been receiving calls from what looks like a local phone number. I do not answer the call because I do not recognize the number. There is a Voicemail message that is left each time that is exactly the same recording.

"Hello this is Beth from Global Services please call me back at (888) 240-0182 regarding a personal matter. Thank you." Then there's static after the recording. The Voicemail lasts 39 seconds.

The call comes through twice each business day. They average to be about 50 to 80 minutes apart from each other.

I tried to block them using the Mr. Number App but unfortunately they are still coming through to voicemail. The Mr. Number App says the number belongs to someone named *** * ***.

I'm not willing to call the number they left back in order to see if they try to scam me for money or personal info but I did do a Google search of the incoming number and others have gotten the same message. Sounds like it's a debt collection scam.

For over a year, this company has called my wife, me (her husband) and family members requesting to speak with my wife using her maiden name.  They stated they are with Global Services and been contracted to reach out to resolve an open debt collection and if we don't pay the debt a warrant will be issued and she will be taken to court/jail. Asks for social security information, date of birth, address, etc. Will not provide any detail on what the debt is from since there is no debt to collect. Will call personal cell phones, work phones, etc. Have told them to either remove me from their call list or press charges but they continue to call

I am receiving multiple voice mails daily saying this is "Beth" from Global Services please call us back at (888)240-0182 in regards to a personal matter. When i called the number back a "Sadie" answered the phone she told me the last 4 digits of my social security to verify who i was. She provided her direct contact information as (888)352-9917 xt 714. She stated that a company by the name of All Pine gave me a Payday loan on 12/24/2012 for $450 and she wanted to set up payments to pay that back now that the balance was $750. She said that All Pine would settle for $600 and offered me payment plans. I never have taken out a pay day loan. Sadie had all my bank information, my address everything. She was unable to tell me how i supposedly received these funds but told me if i did not pay this money i would be taken to court and 25% of my wages would be garnished. When i said that the company could take me to court she continued to say that its what the company wants because they will make more money if i go to court as opposed to me settling. I called my bank and they said that it sounded like a scam and that if it wasn't a scam the company would be able to provide information as to their "evidence" that the money was given to me. All 'Sadie" could say is that i had been approved not that i received the money.

A message was left on my answering machine saying, "Hello this is Beth from Global Services. Please call me back at 888-240-0182, regarding a personal matter."

I researched them on the internet and found that they are a mediator/debt collector. I owe no debts.

I received a call on Friday 04/07/2017 at 6:17 pm EST from a person named 'Jennifer" saying she was from Global Services looking for my husband (she said his first and last name) to discuss a personal matter. She never said she was a debt collector or said I was on a recorded line. I tried to ask what it was regarding, she said she could not talk to me about it with out consent form him. She needs to have him vitrify his full name, full social security number, address and place of employment. She gave me the number 888-352-7917 to him call back to speak to her with her Ext. of 711, and that she would be available from 8 am till 5 pm pacific time. She also asked if she could call back on Monday 04/10/2017 to talk to him. I told her to go ahead.

When my husband came home from work last night he told me he had a voice mail on his phone that came in at 6:58 pm EST. He played it for me and it said the following: (5 seconds of silence) " Hello this is Beth from Global Services. Please call me back at 888-240-0182. Regarding a personal matter. Thank you." (another 15 seconds of silence).

I have done some research on this today and found many postings (over 200 posting dating back to 02/13/2017) about this "Beth" person from Global Services leaving the same exact voice mail for other people around the country. Many of them claim when they talk to a person from Global Services that they were hired by a payday company to collect on outstanding payday loans the person has and if the person does not pay them they will take the person to court.

I will not allow my husband to identify who he is to these people. I know my husband has never taken out a payday loan and has no current outstanding loans. I know that if he were to give out his social security number to this company that we have never heard of nor can find any information online, that his identity could be stolen.

They keep calling and are very rude when they leave messages. They do not use specific names but they introduce themselves and say its regarding a personal matter. I called them from another number and could hear loud rap music in the background and when I asked who they were they said they were very rude and say they are from global services and that they are a mediation group. When I asked specifics they got even ruder. The phone number they call from is from Ada, MI and is (616)425-8879 and directs you to call the 800 number. I looked them up online and found hundreds of others complaining about them wanting money via the phone by threatening a law suit.

- Fort Washington, MD, USA

calling sayingcour tmatters and they are trying to resolve asking for bank information and social security information

Received several calls from them indicating they are a debt collector for a 2012 cash advance loan I didn't pay back. They threaten me and said a law suit will be put against my social security number which makes no sense. They have the last four digits of my social security number. They are also calling my sister's home asking for me. When I ask for the loan company I defaulted, they said they don't have the information. They also asked for me to call (888) 201-6452 number and when I call.. it just hangs up.

I received a phone call from said debt collectors saying I owed money for a payday loan in October 2012. They also said they were trying to garnish wages. After I told them I would dispute the collection, they were going to transfer me to the credit collectors and the line was quiet for five minutes before it hung up. I called the number twice and it said voicemail had an error and could not accept any messages. I didn't not pull out said payday loan and was wondering if this is a scam

This number calls my phone 17 times a day as well as family members looking for me it is an automated message and tells you to press 0 if you are the person they ask for,to speak to someone but when you do they hang up. When I return the call music plays and puts you on hold but does not identify where you are calling. When someone answers they already know your name and personal details saying that a judge has signed a wage garnishment order and if you do not pay them now they will mark you as declined offer. They said they sent me letters and emails but when I asked for it to be mailed to my proper mailing address so that I may look it over I was told they were not a mailing service and since I refused to give them money they would be marking my account declined and will be garnishing my pay check.

Lori Bronson of global services called me on 10/11/16 stating I was in collection for a 300.00 payday loan from shoreline llc. She said she was the mediator to collect debt or if I refused it goes to court with attorneys fees up to 5000.00. She refused to give me company license number but gave address. She didn't have any evidence to give me via email to prove her claim that I took a loan on 8/9/11. She had my personal information. She had me give her my visa cc for a payment plan. Upon Google searches this company is a scam
