Global Relocaters/Siberian Husky Home Reports & Reviews (1)

I went online and found a puppy I loved at "siberian-huskypuppies.com". We emailed the company through their contact page on their website and received an email back from "[email protected]" asking for our names and why we were wanting to purchase this puppy. The email claimed they wanted to make sure the puppy was going to a loving home. The next email said they were comfortable with our story to send us the puppy and he would include a list of things with the purchase. the list included health certificate, 1 year health guarantee, medical records, crate, toys, food samples, and a booklet of information to care of the puppy. They then asked if this was okay with us and if it was to send them our shipping information (the company was out of state from where we live). We agreed and sent the info for payment. The total was $800. ($650 for puppy and $150 for shipping costs) They then told us that a "pet couriers" company would be reaching out to us with tracking information, flight statuses, and registration information on the puppy. We then asked for a video of the puppy for confirmation before we sent the money. We received a video and then we received a text message stating they were the puppy breeders and we could contact them through text. We then sent the money to the breeders using an online source. When we received the info for the pet couriers the information came through an email stating our puppy and registration had been confirmed and they were doing a health check before putting him on the flight. That email came from the address "[email protected]" (the company was called "Global relocaters"). they then called my phone for confirmation that I received the email. The man I spoke to had a very thick middle eastern accent. He then claimed that the puppy was in the health check and they would contact me again in around 15 minutes to update flight information. 20 minutes later I received another phone call from the same man asking if I received the next email. I asked him to hold for a minute while I checked, I said yes and he then asked about the changing crate fee. I was unsure what he was speaking about so I asked to check the email and call back in a few minutes. when I looked at the email (Sent from the same company and same email address) it claimed that my puppy was too young to fly in the ventilated crate the breeders had provided. They claimed that we had to pay for an upgraded "electric thermal crate" which was $1200.00. the email also stated that we would be refunded $1,100.00 after we received the puppy and the other $100.00 would be used to cover damages to the crate. This is when we realized it was a possible scam. we refused to pay the amount and asked the breeder to pick up the puppy and we would drive the 8 or so hours to pick him up. the breeder never responded. We then tried calling the breeders "cell phone" and it was a text free number. We continued trying to talk to the breeders and asked for a full refund and we received no response. We then let the breeder know that if we did not receive our full refund, we would dispute the claims and file a dispute against the company.
