Type of a scam Debt Collections
A company by the name of Premium Asset contacted me in 2015 about a debt to Kay Jewelers, offering me to pay $50 weekly until it was paid off. I did this, and it was paid off in August of 2015 (or so I thought). Today, I get a call from this company, Global Processing Solutions, stating that my debt was not paid off, and that if I did not pay $50 weekly until it was paid off, I would get arrested on felony charges. I called my local police department and they told me that I have been scammed.
