I believed I had purchased a puppy from Royalty Shihtzu Puppies (another scam-perhaps in this together). The puppy was paid for by using American Express Gift Cards sent via text pictures. The puppy was to be shipped to us on Monday, Oct 12. This shipping company contacted me stating that I had to rent an air conditioned crate for the puppy to be sent via airplane. The rental fee was $1189, to be paid via Amex Gift cards, via text pictures. I sent all pictures to the phone number given. After some time I received an email stating that the largest amount gift card had no balance on it. The receipt for the card said the card had been activated. Via the Amex website I found out that their was a balance on that gift card of $13.50. I had spent no money on the card, sending it straight to the shipping company as instructed. They wanted me to send another new gift card and I refused. I contacted the seller of the dog who said she would contact them and see what she could work out, even pick the dog up if possible. Seller told me she was going to the shipping company today around noon and would keep me updated. I have heard nothing from either one of them, the seller or the shipper. I can only believe that they may be in this together. The sellers email is [email protected]. The web address is royaltyshihtzu.com and the phone number is 980-400-0724. To say I am embarrassed and heartbroken that I fell to such a scam is more than I can bear and the shame I feel is indescribable. I have lost $2000 in this scam.
