individual claimed to be an IRS employee. he said my name and gave my home address. He advised that my taxes had been under payed for the past several years, and that they had sent several letters in an attempt to resolve the issue. The individual further explained that the problem had been escalated since they were never contacted and an attorney would be calling me soon as a lawsuit was pending. They will give a call back phone number from what appears to be an overseas call center. They will hang up when called back. They will use several different numbers to throw you off. so far two calls this week, the second was ignored, however when you Google both numbers they are linked to this company.

Apparently the case number they or this individual that called gave is given to everyone. DC1928, this number also comes up when Googled.

This was an obvious scam, but scary enough as they will give personal information to attempt to appear legitimate.
