I too received a cashier's check in the mail for the same exact amount, $1,845.49. This company is asking me to deposit the check and keep $300. I'm to use the remaining $1,545.49 to purchase 3 $500 Best Buy gift cards. Scratch off the information and photo copy front and back. Then email them this information along with my shopping experience questions. I haven't done anything because it seems like a scam. I have received calls before with a similar scam. They want you to purchase gift cards and send them the information via photo and they will reimburse you the money you spent, which will never happen. I totally believe this is the same type of scam.

I believe the below is a Scam. Company sent a Cashiers Check for $1,845.49 and instructed to purchase 3 each $500.00 “BEST BUY” Gift Cards, scratch off the cover for the validity code, photograph the cards front and back and e-Mail back to them. They claimed check would clear in 24 hours and urge you to complete these transactions within the next 24 hours to gain an extra $300.00 on next foray. I interrupted this process after making the deposit at wife’s request when I asked for more details about the check deposit. Currently, scammer knows wife’s Name, Address, telephone Number and Email address. I
