I am not good at technology at all. I use my computer for basic things. Today, Glexis Support Inc.called me, saying that 1000 dollars will be withdrawn from my account for a software they have installed on 1/04/20. Last year, I had a problem with Amazon and I was trying to call them. Then, I got answered by Glexis Support tech and he said he will fix the problem and I have to pay 106 dollars immediately. Since i do not know how to take a screen shot, the tech offered to help me by getting to my computer. When he got there, first thing he did , he opened one of my word documents without permission, it was an airplane ticket and he start reading it. At that moment, I knew I was being scamed.
I tried to get to Amazon again, I talked to them and they assured me it was a fraud.
I contacted my bank and changed my account, but unfortunately, the check was cleared before I could change anything.

Today 1/2/2021, they showed up again. I called my bank and changed my account for the second time. I really feel harassed and unsecure after their call. I do not know WHAT THEY ARE UP TO IN THE FUTURE!

Had similar experience except were are out 740.00 dollars and calling for check also.
Unfortunately my check cleared before I could cancel

We bought a new computer and tried to download aol gold on it with some trouble getting it to download.We got a call saying that they were with AOL and said they could help me out with the download at that time they told us our computer is loaded with alot of viruses and needed cleaned out first for it to work at a cost of $200. in a form of a check they scanned it and we sent it to them they made us think if we didn't send the check in that we would have a lot of problems with our computer. Everything was fine till the other day we got a phone call from Glexis Support Inc. saying that we had some problems they showed us alot of errors and also showed us up to 155 people were using our computer internet connection they said they would clean it up and secure it with an external drive they said we had the internal one now we need the external one to fix the problem for $800. At that time we told them that was it we did not want there service anymore. They were not happy kept trying to talk us into it . We are now getting our computer cleaned up from someone we know an trust never doing anything like that again.

My aol gold was not connecting, so i asked for aol tech support. Tech came on and said he could fix the problem. He got into my computer, and shows me all the trojans and spyware. Said he could fix it, but would take some time. Nex, he offered to fix it for $399.00 for 2 years, or $440.00 for lifetime. I felt like i had no choice with all these trojans, etc., and told him i had norton security and should have caught all those. My deceased husband used to do all the computer fixing for me because i don't know how. Seemed like he took photo the signed check he wanted and signing aproval i was obligated with no choice. About every 5 minutes he was asking me if i was mailing the check out today. Then i sure i was being scamed. I was having other problems before this and asked him to fix it and it wasn't getting fixed after the 3rd day of computer running. I called my bank and told them to cancel the check which they did for it arrived there, and going to bank and change my account #. Need to know if this company is legal or scam.
