I saw an ad to advertise for amp energy getting paid $550 weekly and I sent a text to the number that was listed they said they would send me a check to cover what I would be getting paid plus extra for the installer fees to have the installer come out and place the advertising on our car. They asked for my address and sent me a fake check for 3,200.35 and they want me to deposit the check and told me to keep the $550.00 and send the remaining via wire transfer to the installer, and once the installer receives his payment he will come to my home to install the advertisements, I didn't realize until I received the fake check that it was a scam. I did not deposit the check and they have been calling and texting me constantly but I have been ignoring their calls/texts. Also the address on the USPS envelope is different from the address on the check. And the names are different and the company name doesn't say anything about amp energy it has a construction company's name on the check. The name on the USPS envelope is JOHN CARROLL UNIVERSITY 20700 N PARK BLVD, UNIVERSITY HEIG OH 44118 . the bank that the check was from is AMERICAN SPIRIT FEDERAL CREDIT UNION 1110 ELKON RD NEWARK, DE 19711 . the name and address of the company they used is GIORDANO CONSTRUCTION LLC 368 APPLETON ELKTON MARYLAND 21921
