my name is destiny gordon. i received a text message by email [email protected] yesterday morning about a job offer. position was data entry/office assistant of $24h training pay & $30h hired on. i agreed to hear more, they sent a description of the position & it’s perks on zoom. we had a “interview” on zoom & they asked me interview questions & i sent my responses. maybe a hour later they told me i was selected for the job. today i was told my training would start, i was confused on how i would train when they said they provide the equipment because this position is remote. they started asking for my direct deposit so they can send me funds to pay for the equipment. that sounded very unprofessional to me. i asked them how come they can’t pay & send to me, i could easily take what they send me & walk away with it. they argued that i gave my name, address, phone number & i signed the agreement form for the job that it would be a easy lawsuit if i did run off with the money. the last thing they said to me made me realize this was a scam. by telling me “i don’t know why you are being so insecure”
