I inquired about a job in December 2023 and the person stated no one will be hired till January 8, 2024 when the training class begins, in which the company charges $56.00 per day for training. The company changed the dates and claimed I was hired in December claims they get a tax write off if said in December and not in January where they said to wait till they are ready to train people. I told them if January is training than that is when I should begin. I turned all my information W4, I9, two forms of id. The trainees trained on camera in Zoom eight to nine hours per day. The company has another company that helps with training named Exchange and Teleperformance, suppose to be training people for Intuit Turbo Tax. The employees running the training were never on camera, never seen their names on zoom and would run into the room screaming at people. One Team Lead Rhonda came in the room like a gangster cussing and fussing and throwing people out for just asking a question. This created a hostile work environment. When it was time to take calls for Intuit Turbo Tax supposedly there were no calls. Gigcxmarketplace starts people off at $18.00 dollars per hour, they subtract a administrative fee, a paycheck fee, conditioning training fee and by the time you begin to work if they have work your rate of pay is $12.50 per hour. These fees are taking out every check that's if you get a check. Very Stressful work environment and very unprofessional.
