1. Receive packages from company
2. Take picture and videos of packages
3. Record information such the route that I will take to deliver the package.
4. Ship off the package at USPS or USP store.
Initially, I thought the job was okay, because it fit with my schedule and the pay was great ($40 per package I ship off). I applied, got an interview, got accepted for the job, and signed the Employment Agreement. I told my family members and friends about it. They found it suspicious that I was getting a high wage for doing simple tasks. I didn't think anything of it, until I search out about gift wrapping company and found out most of them are involved in scams. They would hired people like me to receive and deliver packages with stolen money in it. I have not started working for the company yet, but I am scared to get involved with illegal activity.
I called 911 about it, because I don't know who or what to call. And they told me that I should report it to the Better Business Bureau. They also told me that I can refuse the job even after I signed the Employment Agreement which I plan on doing. But in the agreement, I gave away my name, my home address, drivers license. I'm very scared of what they would do with my information.
I know my evidences claiming this company is doing fraud are weak, but I would just like to get some authority to track keep an eye on the company. They are offered to pay me $40 per package I ship off which is a very high wage for a simple job.
