I was offered a position as Shipping/receiving clerk $3750 a month + bonus. Sent in my direct deposit and confirmed my address for them to mail payment, they said I would get either a 1099 or W2 after my 30 day probationary period. I was given an account for a "control panel" to check daily for tasks assigned to me at gifts-bay.com/panel/user/login.php. I was told by Eric Mayo at HR that my probationary period would begin when I receive my first task. This was on Feb 6, 2023. I finally received my first task to receive a pkg on Feb 27, 2023 to process then ship back out ASAP. Upon completion of the 31 day probationary period, they stopped responding via email and locked me out of the "control panel," I could not get through when calling the 213 number above which Eric called me from numerous times, they disappeared and I never got paid.

If that wasn't enough, I received another "job offer" from Ian Kaminski, Head of Business Development Department at Prophecy Efforts Inc. Gifts-bay.com is associated with Prophecy Efforts.

Any ReShipping company that wants to pay you once a month is always a scam. I work for a company called Shiply. Been working with them since 2012. They are legit and I get paid weekly. They are not currently hiring, but I have referred many family and friends to Shiply over the years. GiftsBay is a scam.

I was told to expect shipments and forward them for monthly salary. I think it's a scam. I have already provided them a picture of my government id and account number. I will like to confirm if they are scammers or not.

They contacted me via email. I'm assuming they got my name and email address from a job board such as indeed. After reading the job description I came to the conclusion that they're running a reshipping scam. They might also be running some other fake company called X Deals.
