My wife was offered a gift card. The phone call started with, can you hear me, and she replied yes.

Female Voice on the other end of call asked "Can you here me" and I automatically said yes. The voice went on to tell me that I won a $200 gift card. At this point I hung up and researched the number only to find out I was caught up in the new "Yes" scam. If they had recorded my "yes" response, they will try to get me to pay for a product/service I did not order and will play my "yes" response trying to use it as an affirmation that I ordered the product/service. I hope by hanging up within seconds, this does not happen. (Crossing fingers)

I heard a beep and a woman said can you hear me instinctivly i said yes and then it said i may have won a walmart or walgreens card i hung up. The reason i answered it was due to a 585 area code which is my code and i thought it was a prospective job offer.

Got a call asking if i could hear them so i said yes and then they said congratulations you have won a $200 gift card for walmart etc.

I received a call from the above local number they asked if I could hear them and they told me I was chosen to win a $200.00 gift card. I hung up before it went further.
