I was initially contacted by a company called "Capital Couriers" which left me a message stating his name was Joesph Clark. He stated that he had a two part felony complaint that was under my name and social security number (attempted to verify the last four digits). He said the complaints will be filled in the next 24 hours and the result will be a warrant out for my detainment. I could contact him at 877-806-9603. when I called the number back on my caller ID 734-224-6547 a woman picked up and said how can i help you and never stated a company name until i asked. She then stated capital couriers and asked for my name which i gave. She then said they need to deliver some papers to me and attempted to verify a address i haven't lived at in 10 years. She gave me another phone number to an attorney office to call and settle the matter. Then number was for a company Gibson, Dunn, & Rhodes attorneys 888-713-5177. After speaking with Mora Kerns I was scared that i was going to be charged with two felonies for worthless check fraud. She explained to me that i had a old payday loan in june 2013 and when the check bounced it was considered fraud. She said i could settle the debt to stop it which was 1700 dollars or at least half to stop the from going forward tomorrow, but she would allow me until Monday. I got off the phone and did a google search of the company nothing came up for either. I searched on ScamPulse.com and nothing came up. I called them back and asked for the address which they hesitated and put me on hold. When she returned she gave me this address 4700 Lakehurst ct. Suite #7 Columbus, OH 43016. The address shows up for a office space in Dublin, OH. I contacted Ohio ScamPulse.com by phone and they couldn't find anything. I called the Ohio supreme court which has records of all attorneys registered in Ohio and she couldn't find anything under any of the names, but she did say you can ask them for their Attorney registration number. So i called them back and got the run around and no they couldn't provide me with a number. She was rude and told me to google it and hung up in my face, when i called back she did the same thing. I called the Capital Courier company back and told them about what i found and they defended the attorneys and became rude and hung up the phone on me. Neither of the companies had websites and the courier company wouldn't give me a address said it was security reasons but did state that they were in Michigan that's all. The attorney office said that they don't have a website because they don't advertise they are only for corporations. Now i'm being put on hold whenever i call.
