I purchased a Maine [censored] kitten from Giant Gate Maine [censored] Cattery for $738 via Venmo. The cat was supposedly being flown to me. I then was asked to pay $910 in pet insurance. The story was told that the cat was at the KC airport and needed to have a state permit licensure to come in and I gave another $1,109. I never got a kitten, I got dooped. Im humiliated that I fell for this. The phone numbers and emails I had been communicating with so frantically for two days are no longer responding of course. I have reported to Venmo as well so hopefully they block the account holders, if possible. As we know I won't recover my money. I will be diligently filing complaints today to help others from falling for this scam.

Try working for your damn holiday money like the rest of us. This is the [censored] of culture. What comes around goes around!
