This man sold me a car through someone else that was supposedly found at an auction. He told me that my title will be sent to my address. It was coming out of state so I didn't see the issue with it being mailed. It was also taking some time to arrive due to a COVID. He then tells me that it was sent to the Secretary of State and that it will be up there when I arrived to put the car in my name. SOS told me that that wasn't possible. I then contacted him and he tells me that he has to get another title since it was lost when he moved from NC to MI. This scammer told me lie after lie. I asked for my money back and he said that he was exchange the vehicle for another one with a clean title but that convo only lasted for a few hours. He eventually stopped answering my phone calls. I looked up the CarFax and turns out the car is savaged and the insurance company declared the car as a title loss.

This was my first time buying a car from a dealer so I made the stupid mistake of believing everything he said. He now has to pay. Beware!
