I responded to a survey from what appeared to come from a store i frequent quite often so i filled it out. I was offered a selection of free gifts for answering survey only having to pay for shipping. I chose an iPad offered with a shipping of $2.95. I put in my information including credit card information and hit submit and then process. The next thing I know i was charged a fee of 14.95 and then 89.99. This took place on Jan 5th 2022 I could not get any answer until Jan 18th 2022. I was then told that I entered a sweepstakes for the iPad and the 14.95 was an enrollment fee and non refundable that was never disclosed to me when I was filling things out. Then I was told the 89.99 was for airpods I never ordered. They did claim the airpods would arrive today so they could not cancel and refund them. If I wanted a refund I would have to pay for shipping to return them and then they would refund or I could keep them and they would refund 50%. Because I have 0 income and no way to bring them back to post office I had to settle for 50% on a product that I have 0 interest in I don't even own apple products. They were deceptive in how they presented what you were actually purchasing. I am very upset and very unhappy and this has caused me financial hardship as I have no income and get money sporadically. That $105 was meant for more important items that now i have no clue how im going to pay. The 50% of the 89.99 just isn't enough.
