Thought I was paying only shipping and handling costs for an under the eye care product. The shipping and handling costs were $4.95. I later find out that my bank account is charged$119.92 for a FrenchSilkIn and $119.95 for TerrificBTYPRO. Well, I did not recognize either of these names so I thought it was fraud and reported it. My bank reimbursed me for the money. Now I am finding out that they are reversing that charge. I called the company Get Revive Skin in Denver and was told that there was a program I had to cancel within 14 days. If this program is not cancelled within that length of time then you are charge the above amounts. Problem is I didn't sign up for a program that I was aware of. I was told that the program was listed at the bottom of the page. There was no way I would have known to cancel the program. I suggested toT customer service person that I talked that they put that information about canceling the program somewhere where it is truly noticed.

I too became a victim of this internet scam as reported to the BBB by other victims. I was charged an additional $119.95 and $119.92 for two sample products that were represented as free. Before submitting the order, I carefully looked at the website and could find no other terms. The billing error was discussed in a three-way call among my credit card company, Samantha from Get Revive Skin, and myself. We discussed the issue at length with no satisfactory resolution.

During the call I asked Samantha for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and was given none. I asked for their address as none was listed on their website or paperwork. Samantha gave me the company address. When I asked where that appeared on the website, she gave me another website address and told me the address in under “terms”. She said to return the products, which I refused to do in order to avoid additional costs.

After the call, I read the newly found terms which state in part that an RMA is required; the company will not accept open products; returns are accepted at the companies’ discretion; company cannot process or refund packages marked “Return to Sender”; there is a restock fee; and the address under “terms” is somewhat different than that given to me by Samantha. There are other terms that cause greater alarm.

If I had access to any of this information beforehand, I would not have placed the order for the “free” samples. To add insult to injury, in my opinion the products are inferior. I believe this company uses a boilerplate website design as for other similar online products using the same generic brochure and celebrity claims. I have been taken advantage of and expect these fraudulent charges to be removed from my credit card permanently. This situation is disconcerting and all victims should receive compensation above and beyond out-of-pocket costs for this scam.

This transaction is being disputed with my credit card company, and I have filed a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General's Office.
