Same experience as the others, the offer being done in a radar app. You expect to pay $1-$5 for shipping of an iPad when they direct you to the credit card payment page without saying it is for a subscription. I assume it is in a small area of the terms. I sent an email directly after finding out what the payment had been for to cancel it (it did not even say the amount the payment was for). No reply so far to my email. The next day I called the 877 number to cancel. The lady was pleasant and gave me a cancellation confirmation number. Time will tell how much this is going to cost me. Not happy. If there is a cost there will be a dispute for which I have screen saves.

Same exact experience as previous commenter, except mine came through a link in weather.com. Scam. Promise of chance to win iPad for a $5 entry, then takes you to a website (hard to read on small screen - my fault) that charges you $39.98.

Was told I won a iPad Pro from Amazon and when asked for a credit card to pay 1 to 5 dollars for shipping, I was redirected to another website and was charged $39.99 for a subscription to “Get Daily Plates.com, instead of the winner site for winning an iPad, you are redirected to this site. (https://top.lifestylewinner.com/lsw-v1-ipad-za/checkout/) once you click next it takes not the $1.00 to $5.00 to be charged for shipping the iPad, but you are charge $39.99 for a bogus subscription. You find out about your subscription from an email that you received from the daily plates site including a telephone number if you have questions. A copy of the bogus subscription.
