We booked a Room for a month at Paradise Inn Key West---- and the price was $3952 for the month and we booked this thru travel site Get A Room and then we called the hotel to confirm reservation was received and they alleviated any concerns BEFORE we booked our airfare from Texas. A month later this GET A Room site calls and tell us they incorrectly charged us and the rate was $30,000...that's right six times the cost and they would have to cancel our reservation and they would give us a 20% discount on FUTURE bookings as if that would make up for the loss of our non refund United airfare tickets! We have called the hotel NUMEROUS times and the travel site and neither is of any help at all----- just making other consumers aware of this bogus operation that is on many many sites! They reimbursed us for the $3952 but what the heck good did it do for us--- we are eating those airline tickets! Want to revert this from happening to others! Hotels should NOT be booking thru this unreputable firm!
