I was told i was getting a lab puppy for 900$. He told me i only had to pay half up front and then i could driver the rest when the puppy was delivered. Shortly after i paid him half, he told me he needed more to buy her a crate. I told him that i had several crates and since i am only a 45 minute drive i could pick up the puppy myself. I was told this is not possible due to COVID. After receiving what i now know was a fake confirmation shipping code I then received an email saying an additional $400 was needed to cover insurance for the drive. After realizing this is a scam, i tried contacting the man and he is no longer answering calls, texts or emails.
