I applied for a job through indeed for a remote position for Caroma in Australia. I was only contacted through Teams and did not speak to anyone over the phone. I tried to call the company from the number on the website and they could not assist me but the rep said it sounded like a scam. The contact Jennifer Martinez asked me to open a credit card through my bank and make it for personal use even though I would be using it as a company credit card. It did not sound legitimate, and I have not been able to confirm through the actual company Caroma that my application is legitimate.
