Scammer called my phone claiming to be tech support for Microsoft. They then showed me innocuous data under the guise of viral infection. The scammer then convinced me to allow remote access to my computer with the premise of repairing the aforementioned damage. With this access, he then used my Amazon account to purchase 150 dollars in gift cards. When the connection was terminated by me, I received several phone calls trying to convince me that the supposed repairs were not complete.
