Ordered Genesis eye cream that was suppose to work on dark circles and bags under the eyes. The product ordered was in a small vertical shaped pump and the product received was in a jar for FACE NOT EYES!
The online advertisement shows an actual person having someone place the eye on an individual and the bags dissipate in a few minutes as the person is applying the product to eye area and continues to tout how great this product is and you are seeing results as they are speaking about the Genesis eye creamt.
This is a sample size pnly for eyes purchased at $2.99. When you check out and complete order and submit via credit card there is a box that the company already has checked so when you check out you pay an additional 4,99 for shipping on a 2.99 SAMPLE???? You don't see it until it is too late and you have hit submit!
When I received the product it was NOT EYE CREAM it was face cream and mentioned nothing about dark circles and bags under the eyes. I called the toll free number 888 244 8220 questioning the product I received and the customer service representative mentioned nothing about this being eye cream. When I questioned her further and pushed for further information realizing I had been scammed she said I could use under the eyes. FALSE ADVERTING.
On February 25, 2017 I received a call from my bank FRAUD DEPT. regarding a 97.45 charge that caught their attention because the charge was coming from Oregon and I live in Chicago, IL the representative asked me to confirm recent charges and the Genesis Company was trying to charge this without my permission and the bank declined the charge (thank God they were vigilant in doing so) and I said I had NOT given permission for this charge. I only ordered a SAMPLE SIZE for 2.99 and now they are trying to charge an addition 97.00 and now they have my card number to continue to order more product without my knowledge!! I had my bank re-issue a new credit card so these charges would not occur again.
This is such a FAKE AD and unfortunately I fell for it as I am sure many have. Hope this information helps others not fall for this SCAM.
