I went on websites like indeed and zip recruiter. A few to the point I am not sure which one lead to this. I was sent a text message mentioning jobs and the pay rate. I mentioned I was already employed and asked if I can direct them to someone else I knew and they agreed. Then they asked for the individual to send their resume to an email address. Was then asked if they was available for interview, they wasted no time to say they were. They asked questions and mentioned sending their answers to their board, which was in an hour they were to get a response. But the individual was told and ended communication with the scammers.

I was scammed by a Dr Wally Curran of Genesiscare. Had me by gift cards and overdrawn my account
then made miscellaneous transaction on another account

I received a text message stating I am Ms. Elizabeth Bishop From GenesisCare Company I am contacting you in regards of your resume posted on Career builder for Cashier/ Office Assistant/Data entry / Customer service/ Administrative assistant which of the available position do you fit ?

Then she proceeded to ask Okay do you have telegram messenger app to proceed with the online interview?

+12524194194 save the number in your contact as Henry Bradely and message or Call the HR manager now for the online interview via telegram App.

I proceeded with the interview which took me two hours of answering questions nothing too personal just my email my address and my name

They then proceeded to tell me I would need to download different programming for the job that they would send me money and I would have to deposit it into a bank account.

I never got that far I smelled a scam so I came onto this website and also saw someone else talking about getting money to deposit into the bank account through this company.

This process is going on two days now and they want me to continue tomorrow.

Too good to be true don’t be fooled.

I had the same message. I sent out an email to their company to see if this was a process to hire remote. It seemed off when he told me they would prefer an active bank account. I lied of course and said no. Once he said they would prefer an existing account, huge red flag to say that before given the job.

Same here, thanks for sharing.

I got the same exact message. Thank you for sharing!

They told me and my daughter we were hired for an at home job for customer service and administrative assistant sent both of us checks for $5,890 for computer program equipment, I was the only one who deposited the check I told my daughter to wait to see what happens with mine first, and sure enough it was no good, he tried to pressure me to use $1000 of my own money to start buying equipment I told him I won't be doing that, then when I found out about the check return I told the man we had been talking to Henry Bradely that was ok about the job and the check was no good he went and deleted all of our communication under the Telegram app but I got screenshots from my daughter.

Someone posing as an employer spent 4 days online with me, conducted a 2 hour job interview, made a job offer, and hired me. He then requested I submit money to a vendor to buy a work computer and printer for my usage working from home. He hired me to work for Genesis Care as a procurement specialist, along with a written job offer and job description given. Through mobile banking, I submitted a check he emailed, under the guise of buying these electronics. He instructed I pay out 4 accounts, which I did through Zelle/Chase bank. He contacts me through Wire app, and is waiting for me to cash the next deposited check. $8400 Total amount given to me by check, and was instructed to make $4k in online zelle payments.

I visited Chase Bank today, and they said it looked like a fake checks, and they will bounce soon. I don't have that money to cover if they bounce.

The scammer is posing as Scott Bookmyer, an Australian board member and hiring manager communicating with me for the last 5 days. Job offer arrived by email from Simon McGrath of Genesis Care. I have saved the email communication, Wire app communication, and screen shots of the bank transactions on my computer. I only chatted and emailed with "Scott" but no voice or zoom meetings, and never spoke to anyone. He asked me to make a Venmo payment, but it never went through. I did a stop-payment for Venmo. Unusual activity was on the venmo communication.

It looks like the sensitive information he obtained was my Social Security number, home address, last 4 digits of my banking account, and my signature.
