I found a car('67 red corvette convertible) for sale on www. vettehound.com website. Sale price was $25,400. I sent an e-mail to the person listed as the seller, Trevor C Walker, a Doctor / Emergency Medicine Specialist / Medical Corps(RAMC).He responded with an email telling me about the car. The car was in Spokane, WA and lived in the mid west. He sent pictures of the car and all the details about the car. He said the car was at Gelston Transport in Spokane, WA.and If I was interested in the car, I should contact Andrew Matis at Gelston Transport. He would act as the third party to protect the seller and buyer. Trevor was out of the country and could only be contacted by e-mail. He had signed the paper work and Andrew Matis was handling the sale. I wired the money to a Wells Fargo Bank in Spokane, WA. on March 13,'18 and Gelston Transport was going to deliver the car on March 30,'18. I haven't heard from Andrew Matis since March 26, '18 when he told me the car on schedule to be delivered on Fri. March 30'18. It was a SCAM!! I should have known better but thought I was getting a good deal! Remember, I'f it sounds to good to be true, it usually is! Don't buy a vehicle on the internet. I hope this" SCAM ALERT" will stop someone from making the same stupid mistake I made!! I don't know how to attach an example of what I received without my personal information. We communicated mostly by e-mails, phone calls, and fax.

After finding a classic car priced below marketplace value online and negotiating with a seller who alleges they are out of the country, the consumers are told the seller has contracted with a third party shipping company called Gelston Transport advertising on gelstontransport .c0om to act as the intermediary in the transaction and as the transport company. After contacting Gelston, the consumers are sent payment instructions, a bill of sale and contract with instructions to wire payment. After the consumers wire the payment, the vehicle never arrives.

This is a car transport website stating to be a third party to hold funds in escrow. Trying to get me ow but I have finally researched the scam and stopped. On yelp looks like 3 people in last 3 days wired and have lost money. Please help catch these crooks

This scam report is almost identical to that of Durnford Transport, but with a new shipping company - Gelston Transport. We inquired about a 1935 Chevy 3 window coupe ad that we saw online at hotclassicdeals.com. Within a few days we were contacted by a "Trevor C Walker" of the RAMC. Through a few emails, he let us know that the car was still for sale and he was overseas and currently dealing with a divorce settlement so he was ready for a quick sale and directed us to use a third party shipping company, Gelston Transport. Gelston Transport has a website and looks very legitimate. We even looked up the google maps location and saw a warehouse for the supposed address in Spokane Washington. We were instructed to call the phone number for this company and leave a voicemail for Andrew Matis to begin the process of a wire transfer. We did so and did not get a call back. Feeling like the price of this vehicle may be too good to be true and not thrilled with the idea of a wire transfer, we began searching for possible scams. That is when we came across several similar accounts on scam guard and ultimately to the ScamPulse.com complaint for Durnford Transport.
