I was trying to apply for the Global Entry Application and thought I was on the correct site. Immediately after clicking submit I realized I was not on the correct site. They charged an extra $149.95 and have all of my identifying information. I immediately reported the card stolen and have placed a freeze on the 3 credit reporting agencies. They have my current and past address, my current and past employer, my passport number and license number, and email address.

My partner used google search to apply to global entry and accidentally used this third party website: https://ge.global-traveler-apply.com/apply

The application appears legit and asked for passport information, drivers license, eye color, height, address history, and employment history. He tried to submit the application but his bank recognized it as a scam and thankfully stopped the payment. However, his personal information was still submitted and we're very worried that it may have been stolen now.

I searched "Global Entry" in Google -- this website was at the top of the search results page. I filled in personal information such as my home address, phone number, passport and driver's license numbers... and when I got to the page where I had to enter my credit card number and pay, it seemed odd that they were over-charging from the $100 Global Entry fee. So I searched "scam global entry sites" and discovered it was a scam website designed to take more money to enroll me into Global Entry and "skip" steps or time in the application process. Beware.
