GEF Scam

I received a message in my Facebook messenger sent from a fake instagram account claiming to be my aunt (she doesn’t have an instagram). They had her Facebook photo in there. Telling me about this grant through GEF. How she got 100,000.00 and all I had to do was click on a link to talk to this person and I could get it also. This is a scam! Don’t click on the link. I blocked the fake instagram account and told my aunt. Be careful of the scammers out there. Do not click on the link.

GEF scam from 07/26/22

It looked as my Face Book friend sent a message from her Instagram that she got grant for GEF program and gave me link http://m.me/afg24.co
m.me ( Kirra Foster) to contact with the agent. Before I understood that it is scam, I gave them my name, tel. number, address and Income. Even when I wrote that I know that it is a scam, they comtinued send me messages like this one
"This is real and legitimate".

I had the exact same thing happen as the previous complaint. (76309) I must say they are getting pretty good at catching me off guard. I sent them a copy of complaint. I haven’t heard back from them yet.

This guy named Paul Kaufman an old friend of mine came from nowhere and seen him in years and all of a sudden he said he had something for me to look at and it was something that they would give me money I'm at my front door and I gave him my information and I got screwed I knew I'd I told my wife is supposed to scam don't go for at that guy's it's not even your friend it's not they posed as your friend I've known them for years and all of a sudden he shows up they scammed me what do I do to protect myself

I got a message through Facebook messenger from a friend saying that she recently signed up and got money from a program called GEF. She told me that they are giving people $100,000 for their business or personal use. She told me that I should call this agent and sign up to get money as well. I think her account was hacked.
