I was sent email explaining that a basic computer protection plan which I had purchased was upgraded to a premium account and that my debit/credit card would be charged 299.99.......and was given a number to call.......I called the number out of curiousity and the gentleman (term used loosely) on the other end of the line attempted to have me go to the website PCV123.com in order to cancel the upgrade and the charge. I told him if this is legit....I should be able to cancel over the phone....he proceeded to give me a cancellation code and told me to access the website and I would be able to cancel throught the website......I told him I believed it to be a scam and that I was not going to navigate to the website he gave me.
