I got an email saying thanks for the purchase from Geek Tech Support services and that $344.05 would be deducted from my account. I called their number and said I didn’t order, and he asked if I wanted to cancel. I said yes and he asked if I was at my computer, instructed me to open Google Chrome and enter a web address that was a bunch of numbers dot something. Weird. I told him I’m reporting it as a scam.

I got a text message that said the following:

Thank you for your order #664586 with Geek Tech Support services

A deduction of $249.39 from your account. if you want to cancel/refund ++1-877-320-2813

This is exactly how the message was written. I have never ordered anything from Geek Tech/Geek Squad or any company of the like. I hope nobody falls for the phishing scam. At the current time there has not been any transactions in my bank accounts matching this, but I will continue to monitor closely.
